Yesterday was a very special day!

After more than 10 years of friendship, I finally met my friend Bruna in person

We met each other on Facebook on the online pinup community back when we both were into it, but we stuck together due to other similar interests (such as Batman ww). She's originally from São Paulo, but when I got in here, she moved away to a different place a short time after.

Bruna watched me graduate high school, grow up, end my almost-marriage and a lot more, but it was our first time actually seeing each other!

We made a quick meet up at the downtown before she went to a concert so we could finally hug each other!

We made a quick stop at the city theater to take some pictures ~ unfortunately you can't get further than the hall if you're not going to watch something.

Then I brought her to my favorite place in São Paulo that I often show to many of my friends because it's a somewhat hidden street and not many people know about it (not even natives!). If you come to São Paulo, make sure you check out the Avanhandava street!

This street is inspired by Italian streets and is maintained by a family of Italian immigrants. There are a few restaurants and bars, a huge antique shop that mimicks a theater, carnival ride "horses" spread through the sidewalks and little notes you can pick up as a souvenir behind a bar. It always feels magical there!
