Taobao Haul + new Liz Lisa 🩷

 

I have some very exciting things to show today! 

Y'know, I feel like I'm a very blessed person, especially when it comes to gal. Everything I want, I always manage to get. When I first learned about gal around 2010-2011, there were a bunch of different things in my wishlist, but because I was barely a teenager, I didn't have my own money yet + I was still living with my parents + importing was cheaper but a lot more difficult.

As I've said before, I was a huge Tsubasa fan. Kumicky and Tsu-chan were my goddesses, I've always dreamed of being just like them, but especially Tsubasa. So I was obsessed with Dolly Wink; I would spend hours at loveshoppingholics looking through the products and dreaming of them, while listening to Milky Bunny. When they rebranded to the perfume package, I was devastated  the brand and most of the eyelashes were still there, but didn't appeal the same. There was something really magical about their first branding with the polka dots and doll-like imagery.

I've conquered most of the stuff I dreamed of when I was a teenager. I kinda came in terms with the fact that I would never have the original Dolly Wink products, but then in April a re-release was announced, exclusively at Donki. I told myself: "I always get what I want. This won't be different. I don't know how, but I will have it." 

A short time later, Larie told me that she was going to China for a month and that she had found some resellings on Taobao. However, I was short on money. I decided that I would only get a pair of contact lenses because mine was about to expire, but then I got some unexpected money and I could do a bigger haul! 

I'm literally the luckiest gal in the world!

I've already worn these lashes before, but I only had a pair that Larie got me in the past to try them out (crazy story: we hung out on her birthday, and by the morning when we went back to her house, she took them off her eyes and gave me ). I truly think "Dolly eye" is one of the best gyaru eyelashes out there, as they're short but have the perfect star shape, so they work wonderfully for more casual looks.

Diamond Lash "Sexy eye"

First time trying these out, I think they're perfect for casual and onee-style looks! They go very well combined with "Celeb eye" so I'll try that out too. They're thicker compared to "Celeb eye", so I believe they show up more on eyes!

Off-brand lower eyelashes

Yasmin showed me these and they were so cheap I had to get them. They're IMPRESSIVELY long  I even felt a bit intimidated when I saw them in person because they're even longer than Diamond Lash "Princess eye", so they might be tricky to wear and upper lashes must be as long as them to look nice. Beautiful design nevertheless, I believe they're a dupe from one of the lower lashes in Sakurina's long gone brand Fairy Lash, more especially "Barbie eye".

The seller sent some freebies with it: a small glue and a pair of tweezers! I thought it was very sweet of them  

Circle contact lenses

I'm not exactly sure which lenses are these, as I simply asked Larie to look up for lenses that are similar to the Bambi series "Chocolat" and she got me the ones that were the best match, but I believe these are from Cerisecon. These are yearly lenses and are probably the most comfortable lenses I've ever had! I'd definitely buy again. 

And last, but not least...

WHEW! Talk about a dream come true! 

Not only these lashes are beautiful, the whole packaging is a treat! There are some hidden secrets in it and it's just as cute in person as it is in the magazines or online shops! 

The only thing I don't like is the glue, but it was expected. I don't really trust the mini glues that often come with the lashes... But they're good enough for emergency touch ups.

Bonus: Eyemazing nº001 (pair)

Yasmin also did a Taobao haul through Larie and got a pack of Eyemazing nº001. Since I've never tried Eyemazing before, I suggested we'd trade! They went for "Sexy eye", so I gave them a pair in exchange for one Eyemazing pair. Because of the importing bureaucracy, Brazilian gals and other J-Fashion enthusiasts alike do a lot of trading. That's a way to support each other too 

Speaking of trading, Larie and I traded some clothes as well. The MA*RS dress I got on Mercari two years ago unfortunately has never properly fit me and I've never worn it, so I decided to let it go. Larie gave me a  skirt for it, and it fits me so nicely!
