Weekend ~

 

This weekend I went out to meet up with my friend Nickolas  he's a friend I made last year through the Batman fandom on Twitter and since we share the same opinions and like the same ships we became really close ww however, Nick lives in the Northeast so it's why we haven't met before. He's now on a vacation with his here dad so we took the chance! 

(Please note that I won't be posting any pictures with him here. He doesn't like showing off his face on the internet and I respect that!)

I once again didn't take any outfit pictures  so I'll talk about my makeup only!

Man, I was so pleased with this look! I wanted it to look VERY VERY pink, fancy flamingo levels of pink... And I did it  I used a glitter shadow from Daiso and I'll be writing a review for that soon!

 I was quite frustrated that I couldn't do the hairstyle I had planned though. I attempted a few times and my arms became so sore I couldn't barely rise them up.  So I ended up with that pretty boring hairstyle although it was a nice match with the more mature look I went for with a long dress and wedges. I tried my best 

Btw here's a picture I took of my highlighter alongside the Batman minifigure I gave to Nickolas  this highlighter is literally a ring you can actually wear and it's from the Catwoman collection released by SheGlam for Halloween last year. We joked that mini Batman was going to propose to Catwoman who's a great woman and therefore needs a big ring ww

We were supposed to go to Beco do Batman (Batman's Alley), which is a bohemian alley in central São Paulo with many graffitied walls that got this name after a Batman graffiti gained popularity in the 1980s. This alley is known as a spot for artists to create new graffiti arts, so the walls never look the same, and there are many bars and stores with the Batman theme as well. DC/Warner acknowledge the alley as part of the character's history and relevance for the pop culture, so they often order new arts for it too and was even used as a background in the cover art for a comic book recently!

It would be the perfect hangout spot for us, but unfortunately it rained A LOT this weekend and the alley tends to get really dangerous when it rains. So we went to the mall instead but there were some really cool stuff going on!

There has been many Bridgerton promotions in São Paulo recently and I randomly ran into this display of some costumes from the show. They also gave free drinks that were made in partnership with it. I'm personally a big fan of Bridgerton, especially this season's book, so I was in awe! 

Right after, I went to take a quick look at Sephora and guess what? MORE FREEBIES! There was a promotion for their new skincare products and each person could get one random free full size product. Nick and his dad were super kind to get in the line with me so I could get more products! I got a retractable pencil eyeliner (LUCKY because I was in need for a new pencil!), a blue eyeshadow and a body mask!  I could try their new products too!

I'll take this as a sign for me to go back wearing blue eyeshadow... Remember when it was my signature eye color?

I was SOOOO happy for this weekend 

I'm so happy and grateful for my friends and I've made so many good memories in the Batman community... I do have a rough time in the fandom sometimes (and while reading some comics too because boy, they can get AWFUL sometimes) but it's one of the little things in my life that bring me so much joy. 

I can't wait to be able to pay him a visit at his hometown someday!!
