My current booms

As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm having a Tralala/Liz Lisa Doll graphic T-shirt boom, and then I realized that I've never done a boom post!  I'm solving that now!

 Black polka dots on pink

2011 Dolly Wink called!

I've always loved black polka dots on baby pink, but I'm a bit more obsessed with them now haha. I love it on hot pink too!  And if paired with black ribbons? EVEN BETTER!  Tbh, black/pink is my favorite color combination!

There's something about it that it's so feminine, dainty and fun at the same time, and even a little nostalgic. The funny thing is, I used to HATE polka dots when I was a pin-up  Everyone was so obsessed with them and falsely claiming that it was a hot trend in the 1950s that I couldn't help holding a hatred for it. Good thing times have changed (and so did my style)!

I have the PopSister issue with this spread!

I'm wearing this hair clip on my hair right now ww

Nails I've done myself back in April

 Chocolate motif with pink

I've always thought that sweets motives are super cute, but recently I've really been into chocolate + pink, or mint!  I'm a chocomint lover, it's my favorite ice cream flavor  The problem is, I'm not a green person at all. So I end up preferring pink ww. It's a very common motif in Lolita fashion too. When I was 12 I was obsessed with Angelic Pretty's Chess Chocolate. I'd still like to wear it someday, if I get the chance, just for fun and once

My phone case has a "melting chocolate" on top and my phone is beige pink, I think it looks adorable! I made an ice cream charm to go with it!  I really wanted a chocolate bar charm but I could only find it in wholesale.

Pls don't mind the dirty fur ball and the lash glue ww

 Plumeria hair claws

Ok, so I think anyone is having this boom rn
I've always seen these claws on Pinterest and Tumblr because I'm into the Key West kitten aesthetic for ages, but now you can find it literally everywhere, it's crazy!  It became a trend in Brazil after one of the contestants in this year's edition of Big Brother showed up in the house wearing it. Unlike everywhere else, Big Brother is a really big deal here and every year it sets new trends. Last year it were crochet bikinis

What I love about these claws is not only the old school, Me Jane-ish look of them, but they really hold my hair up. My hair are over 1 meter long now and it's really heavy, so if you're looking for a really efficient and cheap hair accessory, go for these babies!

I have a small collection and I really want one of those larger ones with three flowers on them.

 Tralala

I've talked about my graphic shirt boom already, but I'm really into Tralala as a whole atm! It's now my second favorite brand (first will always be ) and I'm sooo in love with Rin-chan and Jun Komori as their models!

I'm super obsessed with their notebook catalogues (they even had one in pink/black polka dots!), I might print some of the covers to DIY a notebook myself. Of course I wish I could get the real thing, it's not even that expensive through Mercari, but I'd be too hesitant to actually write anything on it

What are your booms ATM? Please tell me in the comments!

  1. Ooh I LOVE black with pastel pink also! And also used to dislike polka dots in general 😅 but I'm ok with them now. Black hearts/ribbons on pastel pink is so cute!
Chocolate melting on pink is also awesome!! I had a replica AP purse that was pink chocolate with brown chocolate dripping on it, but recently had to toss it as it was crumbling 😿
I really like the plaid Tralala pics you posted as well~
