 Oh my GOD you guys!!!!!

Bayonetta 3 FINALLY got a proper trailer and release date (tbh I always knew it'd come out on October 28th because of the previous games lol)!!!

If you didn't know already, Bayonetta is my favorite game and character like... Ever. She's like a god to me. I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said I'm DEVOTED to her. She's the most important character ever for me. She's my life, my soul, my heart, my everything!!!

LOOK AT HER!!!!

This outfit is my least favorite of all 3 mains (1 is still my favorite) but it's so detailed and cute, and so different from the previous two!

A few years ago I said she'd wear braids and I got I right!!!

Things I loved in the trailer:

. Viola!!! She seems so promising, her makeup is awesome and she's definitely a lesbian, don't even dare to prove me otherwise;

. The music;

. MADAMA BUTTERFLY!!!;

. It seems like we're going to travel around the world, including Japan and China;

. Jeanne's hair;

. Rodin in a hat!!!;

. Alternative Bayo (?) with an imperial Chinese outfit. She SLAYED;

. Apparently we'll get to ride a train like the motorcycle in "Route 666"????;

. Platinumverse CONFIRMED;

. Glittery!!!!;

. Purple being the theme color (another thing I got my bet right!). Purple is the color of magic;

. DMC references.

Things I didn't love as much:

. It seems to have switched to a futuristic, cyberpunk-ish aesthetic and I'm way too fond on the biblical/catholic and ethereal appeal of the previous games. Not really a fan of this vibe;

. Bayo's face model looks off a little. The shadowing they used is not as good as before and her eyes are a bit robotic;

. The print in Jeanne's dress. It doesn't go with the rest of the outfit;

. The reason I like this main outfit the least is that it looks a little out of character, you know what I mean? Seems like Cereza is a teenager instead of the sassy, sexy witch we know and adore, but also, apparently that was not the real her???? So we'll see;

. The "naive angel mode". Look, I know this will sound harsh and even intolerant, but if you're not willing to accept and go with the sexuality of Bayonetta, then you're missing the whole point and it may be better for you to play another game. But idk, might be useful when playing in public;

. I really hope we're getting to slash angels too, if it's the homunculi only I'll be very disappointed.

My personal wishlist:

. Lots and lots of unlockable outfits!!!;

. Customizing her makeup would be dope, but I'm sure it's not possible ಥ‿ಥ so I put it as an "impossible wish";

. More sweet BayoJeanne moments;

. Playable Jeanne;

. Rumour has it that there will be DLCs so I hope for extra chapters;

 

. Lady Gaga being involved somehow, because I found her tweets about playing the games very suspicious;

. More alternative media coming up, as a new anime or manga;

. Inferno and Paradiso as a localization in certain chapters. The chapters set in Paradiso are my favorites in the first game.  Vigrid would be nice too;

. Some hella dramatic plot twist, because I loved the revelation of Balder as the villain, or Cereza meeting with Rosa, for example;

. A very cool playable scene as the lipstick kill in Bayo 1;

. New merch everywhere!

My brother, who lives in the US, was kind enough to get me one ( ◜‿◝ )♡

He's only coming to Brazil by the end of the year so I'll have to wait a little but I'm so glad I could get myself one! I'm so excited particularly for the Cheshire plushie! (◕દ◕)
